Schools participating

A total of 15 International Schools specialising in Hospitality Management have been selected to join the competition. Following the guidelines set by Hyatt, in which competitors have to be a minimum 21 years old, doing a Master degree and speak fluent English, each of these schools preselected their most talented student to represent them.

A first selection, based on the student files and videos, was made by the jury on November 14, 2011, for only 9 schools to be present in Paris for the final selection and the award ceremony on December 8, 2011.

ESHOTEL

ESHotel prepares students for a Bachelor degree of Hotel Management in French and a Master in Hotel Management in English.

The candidate selected by the school to participate to the 2011 edition of The Hyatt Student Prize is Julia Legrand. She is French and 24 years old.

Vatel Paris

Vatel, International Business School Hotel & Tourism Management, trains the future operational and senior managers of the hospitality and tourism industry.

The candidate selected by the school to participate to the 2011 edition of The Hyatt Student Prize is Iréne Fénart. She is French and 22 years old.

Institut Paul Bocuse

Located near Lyon in France and established for over 20 years, the school (named after the famous French Chef Paul Bocuse) trains professionals for restaurant, hotel and culinary arts careers.

The candidate selected by the school to participate to the 2011 edition of The Hyatt Student Prize is Héctor Gil. He is Mexican and 22 years old.

Ecole de Savignac

École de Savignac offers multicultural and multidisciplinary courses and has its priority set on the student's future career whether in administrative or operational management positions.
